Well, here's that Amaya card I'd said I'd do. Again, much more to the character than what's on the card . . . but hey, that's what the Novel is for! XD (which reminds me . . . i need a title for the novel . . . drat . . . )

Kinda've done quickly this is one of the few renditions of Amaya I've ever done. She's one of the two most important characters I have and I rarely draw her . . . ^^; sorry Amaya. (fyi that necklace she's holding is VERY important to the relationship between Aneko and Amaya. But I'm not telling why. XD )

The II up at the top means I skiped her full human form beacuse I didn't feel like drawing it right now. And the half human form is vauge 'cause I don't want to give away what Aneko is . . . even though it's gonna be pretty obvious once I do her other forms . . . oh well.

Amaya is © to me !

Ohhhh, how wiggy! 83 Took me a while to collect my thoughts for a coherent comment on this one. When I first saw it, I was all "duhuhuhuhuh... purdy hair 8D *drool*"

ANYWHO, she's VERY pretty! I especially like her hair! (As though you didn't figure that out for yourself XD) Kinda bums me out that I don't know more about the character. I mean, I'm sure I know a little more about Aneko, but I don't recall this one. DRAW HER MORE, SAYS I!!!

I LOVE how she's the figment of hope. We've never had onna those before! And it's so cool the way you "combined" her with Aneko, and yet they're as different as yin and yang. X3 That's just plain awesome!

I love the contrasts between the backgrounds! Red and blue... shows a lot about the difference between the characters.

BTW, you were asking about the background... in Paint Shop Pro 7, it's Effects > Plug-In Filters > Eye Candy 3.1 > Jiggle. I think I used "Ragged Edges." Sorry I didn't figure that out sooner. ^^;

Of course, it would have been easier to just select the entire background then go to Colors > Colorize > then played around with the settings. Hue is what color you want. It goes from red, to orange, yellow, etc. etc. until it goes back to red. (Play with it, see what I mean. Blue is around 140 to 160.) Saturation controls how gray or bright it is. But hey, I kinda like the background the way it is. Simple, but it goes very well with the character.

Nicely done! I added your entry to the journal! X3
